WHAT HAPPENS IF WE HAVE RAIN OR LIGHTNING?

WEATHER POLICY

The safety of our athletes, spectators, and volunteers is our top priority. In the event of inclement weather, we will make every reasonable effort to complete the race as scheduled while preserving the safety of everyone involved.

Rain
The race will not be cancelled due to rain alone. Race officials reserve the right to delay or shorten the race in the event of heavy rainfall or unsafe course conditions.

Severe Weather (lightning, tornado, high winds)
If severe weather develops, the race may be delayed while officials consult with public safety authorities. If conditions persist or the delay becomes unreasonable, race officials reserve the right to shorten or cancel the race.

The event will not be rescheduled to an alternate date.

If severe weather occurs during the race, participants should immediately seek safe shelter.

Entry fees are non-refundable.

Please check our website, Facebook Page and your email before the race for any changes or cancellations. If you are already at the event, listen to the announcer about any weather changes that may occur.

ENTRY FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION.

ENTRY FEES MAY NOT BE APPLIED TO FUTURE MSB EVENTS.
